从一定意义上说,高考政治主观题的解答实质上是要求学生用政治专业语言解读社会现象、分析和解决问题的过程。这个解答过程既是考查学生认知的应用过程,也是考查学生思维品质和思想素质的过程。学科结构课程论告诉我们,任何一门学科作为一个知识体系必然有它的基本结构(基本概念、基本原理、基本公式、基本法则),学科知识的基本结构有利于学生获得全面系统的基本知识,有利于学生对获得知识的理解、巩固和迁移。对政治学科来说,学生掌握政治学科知识的基本结构是培养学生政治专业语言运用能力的基础。从把握政治学科知识的基本结构,到运用政治学科专业语言解读社会现象是一个复杂的转化过程,这一转化的实现需要教师在课堂教学中着力为之。
