2005年12月,意大利鞋业制造商协会指责中国制鞋商在生产过程中使用了镍及其他有碍健康的有毒化学物质,意大利卫生部针对来自中国的鞋类产品展开调查。2005年6月30日和7月7日,欧盟分别对中国出口的劳保鞋和皮鞋发起反倾销调查,涉案金额则高达7.3亿美元,从而成为近10年来欧盟对华反倾销涉案金额最大的一宗。俄当地时间2005年3月12日晚,俄税警强行拉走温州鞋类出口企业的货物,涉及温州企业20多家。此前,税警以没有通过正规的报关手续入境、属走私物品为由查封了库房。2004年9月17日,西班牙东部小城埃尔切中国鞋城约400名不明身份西班牙人聚集街头,烧毁一辆载有温州鞋集装箱的卡车和一个温州鞋商的仓库,造成约800万元人民币损失。
In December 2005, the Italian Footwear Manufacturers Association accused Chinese shoemakers of using nickel and other hazardous chemicals that are harmful to health during the manufacturing process. The Italian Ministry of Health launched an investigation into footwear products from China. On June 30, 2005 and July 7, 2005, the EU launched anti-dumping investigations against China’s labor shoes and leather shoes respectively, amounting to as much as 730 million U.S. dollars. As a result, the EU has become the largest anti-dumping case involving the EU in the past 10 years.
