精密机械基础铸件的尺寸稳定性对保持仪器的初始精度起着重要作用.应满足下列要求:(1)具有一定的强度刚度,使其在工作负荷和偶然外力作用下产生的变形尽可能小;(2)铸件的尺寸稳定性高,随时间产生的不可逆塑性变形(自变形)应尽量小;(3)减振性能好;(4)技术经济效果合理.对于仪器铸件,工作负荷较小,精度要求高,以保证铸件自变形最小、尺寸稳定性高最为重要.
