随着全球经济一体化的深入发展,各国经济联系不断加强,对学生英语的要求也呈现专业化趋势。成为掌握英语、熟练应用英语进行行业交流的应用型金融专业人才已成为如今金融专业学生的目标之一。然而传统大学英语教学模式,制约着专业人才的发展。大学英语公共课向学科专业内容靠拢是教改的方向。本文以金融专业为例,介绍基于学科的外语(DBI:Discipline-based Foreign Language Instruction)教学模式和概念,分析金融专业的英语教学现状,以及基于DBI理论下的金融专业大学英语教学模式研究。
With the further development of global economic integration, the economic ties between various countries have been continuously strengthened, and the requirements for students’ English have also shown a specialization trend. It has become one of the goals for today’s finance students to become an application-oriented finance professional who masters English and proficiency in English. However, the traditional college English teaching mode restricts the development of professionals. It is the direction of education reform to move the college English public courses closer to the disciplinary contents. This article takes the financial profession as an example, introduces the teaching model and concept of Discipline-based Foreign Language Instruction (DBI), analyzes the present situation of English teaching in financial field, and studies the teaching mode of financial major college based on DBI theory.
