上海铁合金厂党委遵照毛主席“古为今用,洋为中用”的教导,根据《铁合金技术情报》第一期内国外生产65%硅铁的报导情况,积极组织厂部有关各组和生产车间研究、讨论、制定方案。在上级领导支持和帮助下,于72年10月中旬与上钢三厂、上钢五厂具体协商,确定了65%硅铁生产技术条件(Si62～68%,其他同75%硅铁)和供应方法,于10月27日在10,000KVA 的302~#炉试生产,至今已生产一个多月,生产和使用情况良好。为满足钢厂推广使用,12月份又将另一座10,000KVA301~#炉的75%硅铁转炼为65%硅铁,这样就进入大量试生产和大量使用阶段。一个多月的试生产情况概要如下:
