马丁在系统功能语法基础上创立的评价理论较多关注显性评价,以研究人际意义为主,而隐性评价研究则较少。本文简要介绍部分学者对概念意义中的隐性评价研究成果,尝试从隐性评价角度分析“乔布斯情书”英文原文及其几种翻译版本。通过对比研究,探讨译文质量评估的有效方法;通过文本分析,论证概念功能同样具有人际意义,隐性评价也是评价理论中值得进一步拓展研究的部分。研究发现,概念功能与人际功能之间应该并且可能实施整合性研究。
Martin’s evaluation theory founded on the basis of systematic functional grammar focuses more on explicit evaluation, mainly on interpersonal meaning, and less on implicit evaluation. This article briefly introduces the research results of some scholars on the implicit evaluation in the conceptual meaning and attempts to analyze the original English text of Jobs and several translated versions from the perspective of implicit evaluation. Through comparative study, to explore the effective method of translation quality assessment; through textual analysis, demonstrating the concept of function also has interpersonal significance, recessive evaluation is also part of evaluation theory worthy of further expansion. The study found that conceptual and interpersonal functions should and may be integrated.
