In this paper, we consider that the seller can contact an unsuspecting buyer in advance of meeting two potential buyers, and the seller’s best prior strategic contract can more accurately reflect the joint opportunity costs of the seller and the buyer, so the participants will extract more Rent. In addition, such antecedent contracts reduce the rent-seeking costs of the seller’s contract relative to the buyer’s contract. Thus, depending on the buyer’s financial constraints and the distribution of trade surpluses, it can create more social benefits than non-prioritized contracts.
