“光”是中西方绘画中的重要元素,在绘画艺术中起到独特的审美作用。在绘画创作中,光线不仅体现了创作者的创作意图,而且反映了创作者丰富的精神世界。格式塔美学大师阿恩海姆曾说:“光线是揭示生活的因素之一,对于人的感官来说是最为辉煌和壮观的经验,只有艺术家和诗性偶发的普通人才能在对他进行审美观察和审美欣赏中,洞见它的美的辉煌。”中国画中光的内涵从属于中国绘画美学的哲学范畴,主要依附于用笔用墨、阴阳虚实等存在。它具有超然象外的审美理念,是一种感觉上的体验和视觉上的经验。它的哲学根基是中国古代天人合一的观照方式,表现为将光融于笔墨阴阳之间并使之具有不可分割的审美品性。
