素质教育的特征是以学生为主体,在学习过程中培养获取新知、学以致用、灵活创新的能力,关注学生素质的提高;同时在评价体制上更多元化、人性化,关注教育对学生人生的影响。随着素质教育的不断深入,以新的教育教学理念建立起来的素质教育新模式,越来越体现出其在实际教育教学中的优越性。本文以新课程标准为出发点,就如何在中学地理教学中实施素质教育谈谈自己的浅见。
