Suzhou Soochow Silk Weaving Factory is a large-scale state-owned enterprise specializing in the production of export silk and polyester simulation silk. In recent years, with the reform of the employment system, the composition of factory workers has undergone great changes. Soochow silk weaving factory has successively recruited a large number of rural cooperative workers from rural areas in northern Jiangsu and suburbs of Suzhou since 1986. So far, NRCMS has accounted for nearly a quarter of the total number of employees and 45% of workers in the production line.
