酚醛树脂(Phenolic Resin)是酚和甲醛的聚合物,目前广泛应用于化学、橡胶和纺织业。酚和甲醛均可刺激上呼吸道。作者为了了解接触酚醛树脂粉尘者的肺功能(肺活量、时间肺活量)的变化以及对呼吸道的急性作用,抽样检查了酚醛树脂粉尘接触者和从事消音材料生产的棉尘接触者,男女共73名。结果发现,接触酚醛树脂粉尘的当班工人,其时间肺活量平均降低122 ml,肺活量平均降低125ml,均有统计学意义(P<0.01)。而不接触酚醛树脂粉尘的拣棉工,当班中时间肺活量均无明显变化。此外,还对吸烟和慢性接触酚醛树脂粉尘的联合作用也进行了研究,在20名工人中,35%(7名)有长期吸烟史,其中工龄在5年以上的工人其时间肺活量值低于予计值的
Phenolic resin is a polymer of phenol and formaldehyde and is widely used in chemical, rubber and textile industries. Both phenol and formaldehyde stimulate the upper respiratory tract.
