From the late 1970s to the 1990s, the literature of the new period has gone through nearly 20 years. In this period of not too long period of history, literary “phenomenon” after another, various genres. The fusion of Buddhism and literature seems to be counted as one of the phenomena. Of course, if we look at Buddhism as a culture, this phenomenon may fall into the category of “root-seeking literature.” However, if we consider the integration of Buddhism and literature as a literary phenomenon in the new era from an independent religious point of view, In fact, can not be regarded as unconventional, not to mention its connotation and extension and root-seeking literature also has a lot of difference. The fusion of Buddhism and literature, though not as spectacular as many schools of thought and phenomena, is not as fleeting as theirs, but quietly and lonelyly developed until today.
