大多数儿童在三岁时都能用语言来表达思想,五岁时能流利地使用语言。然而,他们并没有考虑他们是如何使用语言的,因为他们出生后就处在一个“母语”环境中,经历了一个听——辨——模仿——使用的过程。但是,母语并非人们唯一的一种使用语言,当今世界,人们相互交往日益频繁,只讲母语或只讲一种语言已远远不能满足需要。据资料载,当今世界大约有三分之二的人口期望使用母语之外的语言进行交际。这就出现了一个学习外语的热潮。这种热潮,实质上就是一种学习外语的动力。有了动力,就会产生学习积极性,有了积极性,就会有学习的成功者。
Most children express their thoughts in their language at the age of three and fluently use their language at the age of five. However, they did not consider how they used the language because they were born in a “mother tongue” environment and went through a process of listening-discrimination-imitation-use. However, the native language is not the only language used by people. In today’s world, people interact with each other more and more frequently. It is far from satisfying to speak only one mother tongue or one language. According to statistics, about two-thirds of the world’s population now expect to use languages other than mother tongue to communicate. This presents a craze to learn a foreign language. This craze is essentially a motivation to learn a foreign language. With motivation, there will be learning enthusiasm, with enthusiasm, there will be learning success.
