宜宾市六中在建设社会主义精神文明中,大力开展植树、种花的绿化活动。去年以来,他们修建了25个小花园,7个花台,培育盆花292盆,开辟了10块面积为4,335平方米的苗圃。校内有草木花33种,木本花树65种,共计10万株,每人平均达80株。绿化面积达6,336平方米,林木覆盖率占全校面积34％,被评为全市绿化工作先进集体,受到了奖励。这个学校地处城市郊区,面积近3万平方米。为了使校园变花园,81年下半年他们就制定了绿化规划。
