In his youth, Magath West, the leader of the Hungarian working people, was born 61 years ago, March 9, 1892, in the village of Idaho, in Bacheg. His grandfather was a blacksmith in the country who had participated in the struggle for freedom of 1848-1849. He used a sickle to cast weapons for the revolutionary peasants. His father, Joseph Rakosi, a poor working people, worked hard to raise and educate his twelve children.
