锰(Ⅶ)的还原电势太正,在极谱上要用铂电极,而锰(Ⅱ)在氨一氯化铵底液中还原为金属(E(1/2)=-1.65伏,对饱和甘汞电极)灵敏度不到10~(-4)M.Mojzis、Riha、Issa和Nightingale先后在碱性三乙醇胺中得到锰(Ⅲ)络离子还原为锰(Ⅱ)的可逆极谱波(E(1/2)=-0.50伏),浓度可测至2·10~(-4)M,本文利用这可逆波在高碘酸盐存在下的催化波,提高测定锰的灵敏度达10~(-5)M.方法应用于纯物质中微量锰的测定,并讨论了催化波的机理.
