离散性是语言研究中常常使用的一个概念,反映了人们观察和认识世界的一种方式。按照Talmy的说法,如果对一个数量体形成的概念是在其构成整体中有分离或中断的情况,这个数量体就是离散性的。本文在Langacker等人研究的基础上,从语言中体现的离散性出发,强调了这个概念的认知体验基础,探讨了这个概念在语言词汇教学中的应用。
Discreteness is a concept commonly used in linguistic research and reflects one way in which people view and recognize the world. According to Talmy, if the concept of a volume is separated or discontinued in its totality, the volume is discrete. Based on the research of Langacker et al., This dissertation emphasizes the cognitive experience foundation of this concept and discusses the application of this concept in language vocabulary teaching.
