报道了一种新型高功率超宽带光纤光源。利用 980nm激光二极管 (LD)和 14 80nmLD双向抽运掺铒光纤 ,经光纤环镜反射后 ,得到 C +L 波段自发辐射谱。通过调整 980nmLD和 14 80nmLD的功率 ,在 15 2 4 0~ 16 0 0 6nm( 76 6nm)范围内 ,自发辐射谱功率高于 - 18 8dBm ,并且在 15 39 2~ 16 0 0 6nm( 6 1 4nm)范围内 ,自发辐射谱的平坦度为 2 8dB。总荧光功率为 2 2 1mW ,转换效率为 18 8%。如果不加环镜 ,并且保持相同的抽运条件 ,得到的放大自发辐射 (ASE)谱宽在 15 2 5~ 15 6 5nm的C波段范围 ,其总的荧光功率为 7.1mW ,转换效率仅为 6 %。通过分析加环镜情况与不加环镜情况下所得到的自发辐射谱 ,以及加环镜情况下采用不同的抽运方式得到的自发辐射谱 ,最终得出结论 ,通过加环镜 ,并且用 980nmLD和 14 80nmLD双向抽运 ,得到了具有最佳效果的超宽带光纤光源。实验过程中通过调整 980nmLD和 14 80nmLD的功率 ,曾得到 2 8 5mW的荧光功率 ,转换效率为2 2 3%。
Reported a new type of high-power UWB fiber light source. By using 980 nm laser diode (LD) and 1480 nm LD, the erbium-doped fiber is bi-directionally pumped, and the C + L band spontaneous emission spectrum is obtained after being reflected by a fiber ring mirror. By adjusting the power of 980nm LD and 1480nm LD, the spontaneous emission spectral power is higher than -18 8dBm in the range of 15 2 4 0 ~ 16 0 0 6nm (76 6nm) ), The flatness of the spontaneous emission spectrum is 2 8 dB. The total fluorescence power is 2 2 1mW and the conversion efficiency is 18 8%. Without ring mirror, and maintaining the same pumping conditions, the obtained amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) spectrum is in the C band range of 15 2 5 ~ 15 6 5nm, the total fluorescence power is 7.1mW, the conversion efficiency is only 6%. By analyzing the situation of spontaneous emission obtained with or without the addition of a ring mirror and the spontaneous emission spectrum obtained by using different pumping modes with the addition of a ring mirror, it is concluded that by adding a ring mirror and using 980nmLD and 1480nmLD bi-directional pumping, get the best results of ultra-wideband fiber light source. Experimental process by adjusting the power of 980nmLD and 1480nmLD, has been 285mW fluorescence power, the conversion efficiency of 22.3%.
