反思是一种自我评价,是学生以自己的学习活动过程为思考对象,对自己的学习行为、学习方式以及学习结果进行审视判断,从而分析、研究、解决存在问题的过程,是一种通过提高学习主体的自我觉察水平来促进能力发展的途径。提倡老师写教学反思,提倡学生们课前预习、课后复习,但很少提培养学生的反思能力。反思是学习的一个重要环节,没有反思的课堂学习是狭隘的学习,至多只能形成肤浅的知识。反思能力有利于提高学生的主动性、创造性,让学生自主地进行学习,有效地进行自我教育。反思让学生能恰当地评价自我,不断修正前进的方向,取得进步。在初中地理教学中,培养和训练初中生的反思能力,可以使得学生能将它迁移到数学、生物、化学等多门学科的学习中,对学生的全面发展、终身发展有非常重要的作用。
