意义协商是第二语言习得研究的一个重要领域,在国外已有30年的研究历史。学者们认为意义协商在社交互动中起着至关重要的作用并对语言的习得有促进作用。本研究的关注重点是在大学英语口语课堂环境下的师生间的意义协商。课堂观察发现英语口语课堂上的师生之间的意义协商有助于师生间的互动顺利进行,并在一定程度上能够促进学生对目标语的掌握。本研究建议教师应当在教学中适当的运用一些协商策略,从而有效地促进对目标语的掌握。
Meaning negotiation is an important field of SLA research, and has 30 years of research history abroad. Scholars think that meaningful negotiation plays a crucial role in social interaction and promotes language acquisition. The focus of this study is on meaningful negotiation between teachers and students in the context of college English oral classes. In classroom observation, it is found that the negotiation of meaning between teachers and students in Oral English class helps to smooth the interaction between teachers and students, and to a certain extent, promotes students’ mastery of the target language. This study suggests that teachers should make appropriate use of some negotiation strategies in teaching so as to effectively promote the mastery of the target language.
