Experiments show that it is feasible to screen hybrid rice and Japonica rice with low potassium genotype by hydroponics, the suitable period of screening is eight-leaf stage and five-leaf stage respectively, and the suitable K + concentration is 3mg / L and 10mg / L respectively. The main differences between the genotypes and the impatience of low-potassium genotypes were that the former had high ability to absorb non-exchangeable potassium in soil and high potassium utilization efficiency
