The word “baroque” originated in Spanish, meaning irregularly shaped beads. It was diverted to art. It refers to an artistic style popular in Italy in the 17th century and spread throughout Europe. The difference between this style and the Renaissance is that it is not as peaceful, harmonious, rational and clear as the latter, but emphasizes the spirit of freedom, indulgence, and a rich, delicate tune. Baroque artists are good at using dramatic performance techniques to shape the image. They are more focused on strong dynamics, decorative features and spirals
