西方的文学传统一直是悲剧作品占主流的地位,这来源于《圣经》和规模宏大的悲惨悲壮的特洛伊战争、荷马史诗和古希腊的悲剧艺术传统。毫无疑问,人类也发现在人间的生活中处处充满了悲剧因素,这和《圣经》等作品中的悲剧故事是一脉相承的。所以,西方基督教作家通过悲剧故事在人们的内心深处产生共鸣,唤起人类的良心、怜悯心和爱心。这样,西方悲剧文学就会有多重的内涵,它来源于神学故事,模仿神学故事,诠释和回应神学故事,安慰和鼓励有志读者,并标志着西方作家的文学地位和艺术价值。
Western literary traditions have always been the mainstream of tragedies. This stems from the Bible and the tragic tragedy of the Trojan War, the Homeric epics, and the tragic art tradition of ancient Greece. There is no doubt that human beings also find themselves filled with tragedy in the life of the human being, which is in the same line as the tragedy in the works of the Bible. Therefore, Western Christian writers resonate in people’s hearts through tragedy stories, arousing human conscience, compassion and compassion.
