一些作者提出在岳西县昌蒲镇的大别山超高压变质带内存在晚元古代“浅变质岩片” ,其中还有柯石英榴辉岩火成岩脉侵入 .因此对大别山的构造演化机制以及超高压变质作用理论提出重大质疑 .据我们的研究 ,上述作者所报道的“浅变质岩片”是一套强烈变形、细粒化和构造重结晶的糜棱岩 ,其原岩主要为超高压带内常见的区域花岗片麻岩以及榴辉岩和大理岩 ,还有少量也经历了强烈变形的酸性和基性岩脉 .它们的同位素年代学特征也与超高压变质岩带的特征一致 .因此所谓的“浅变质岩片”是不存在的
