外界侧风在很大程度上影响自然通风湿式冷却塔的冷却性能。冷却数作为衡量冷却性能的指标之一,其大小决定着冷却效率的高低。该文根据相似理论,通过热态模型实验,研究外界侧风对湿式冷却塔冷却数的影响规律。实验研究表明:冷却数随外界侧风风速的增加先减小后增大,当侧风风速达到0.7~0.8m/s(相当于实际风速7~8m/s)时,冷却数基本等于无风工况下的值。当外界侧风风速为0.4 m/s(相当于实际风速4m/s)时,冷却数达到最低,与无风工况相比,其值降低20%左右,对应的冷却效率降低约10%。该研究通过现场实验验证了实验室模型实验的准确性,现场实验表明:当外界侧风达到3.5 m/s(相当于实验风速0.35 m/s)时,冷却数降低约18%,冷却效率降低约11%。
External crosswinds largely affect the cooling performance of naturally ventilated wet cooling towers.
