一千个读者就有一千个哈姆雷特,一千个作者的眼中也有一千个北京。不同的是角度各异,互有倚重,相同的是老北京的沧桑厚重辉煌。规划、建筑界人士从专业视角对北京的精读细研,我们早已不再陌生,但作家眼中的北京又是怎样一番景象,我们似乎并未熟稔。为此,我刊特选登《北京的金粉遗事》一书中的部分篇章,2006年度将连载第一章《帝王将相》中的六篇文章:《燕都:青铜时代的北京》、《辽南京:契丹的兴亡》、《金中都:铁马冰河入梦来》、《元大都:中世纪的国际大都会》、《紫禁城:停摆的钟》、《旧时王府堂前燕》,以便让我们跟随作家洪烛一道走近北京的前世今生,寻找这座城市古老的灵魂。 There are a thousand Hamlet for a thousand readers, and a thousand for Beijing for a thousand authors.
