Direct pulsing of a mixture of silver (Au) powder and sulfur in a high vacuum with a pulsed laser beam of high energy density resulted in abundant ions of silver-sulfur and gold-sulfur binary clusters with their time-of-flight mass spectra recorded The structures and distributions of these cluster ions were analyzed and some of their structures were found.
