西班牙型花生的花序为复状花序,瓦棱西亚型和弗吉尼亚型花生的花序为单花序。在供试的4个基因型中,将瓦棱西亚型花生和弗吉尼亚型花生进行杂交,其F_1代为单花序,F_2代花序出现分离,单花序与复花序之比为9:7,这表明杂种后代含有两个互补基因。将瓦棱西亚型花生和西班牙型花生进行杂交,F_1代为复花序,F_2代复花序与单花序之比为13:3,以上研究表明杂种后代含有两个具有抑制作用的基因。
