研究了打浆对5种纸浆(针叶木浆、阔叶木浆、竹浆、蔗渣浆、麦草浆)性质(如游离度、比表面积、比容、保水值、表面电荷量、总电荷量和抗张指数)的影响。在相同游离度下,与其他纸浆纤维相比,麦草浆纤维具有较高的表面电荷量和总电荷量。随打浆程度的增加,5种纸浆的比表面积、比容及保水值都增加,但电导滴定所测得的纤维总电荷量基本无变化,然而,用PDADMAC滴定所测得的纤维表面电荷量增加。打浆使纸浆纤维比表面积增加,进而增加纤维表面电荷量,增强纤维之间的结合力,从而提高纸张强度性能。
