介绍了磨料水喷射切割技术的原理、特点、发展历史和应用现状 ,并阐述了磨料水喷射切割机的构成和应用。由于磨料水喷射切割刀具不直接和材料接触 ,因而不会因为加工使材料发热并产生应力 ,也不会使金属变硬或出现铸态组织。因此 ,该技术能切割任何材料 ,特别适用于精加工前的粗加工、切割热处理过的材料、切割复杂的几何图形件和冷加工等 ,而且切缝窄、部件之间结合密贴、节省材料。同时将磨料水喷射切割与等离子和激光切割进行了比较
