《废都》涉及20世纪80年代末以来社会转型背景下当代中国知识分子在文学与思想文化方面诸多关键性的问题,是“人文精神危机”最精确的文学见证。囿于精神困境中的现代文人试图在灵与肉的迷离恍惚中获得虚幻的文化想象,周旋于几个标志文化符号的女性之间。但无论是何种文化的代表,她们的悲剧命运,既阐释了其所隐喻的文化,同时也解构了这种文化,象征着传统与现代文化的双重失落。《废都》以“性”为透视焦点,使性与文化形成一种同构关系,表现了文化转型中二者的交锋、知识分子的艰难抉择和对文化的失落。
Since the late 1980s, Waste Capital involves many crucial issues of contemporary Chinese intellectuals in literature and ideology and culture under the background of social transformation and is the most accurate literary testimony to the crisis of the humanistic spirit. Modern literati, who are in a state of spiritual predicament, try to get a fantastic cultural imagination in the vagaries of spirit and flesh, between several women who symbolize the cultural symbols. However, no matter what kind of culture they represent, their tragic destiny not only expounds the metaphorical culture but also deconstructs this culture, which symbolizes the double loss between traditional culture and modern culture. “Deserted Capital” takes “sex ” as the focal point of focus, forming a homogeneous relationship between sex and culture, showing the confrontation between the two in cultural transition, the difficult choice of intellectuals and the loss of culture.
