近年来,由于空气污染程度的加深,雾霾天气越来越多地进入人们的视野,对人们的生产、生活和交通运输都带来了非常大的影响。随着民航航班量的不断增加,每年因雾霾天气影响而延误或取消的航班架次也在不断增加。尽管雾霾现象非常相似难以区分,但是它们对湿度、能见度和对飞行的影响还是有区别的。因此对于机场天气预报和空中交通管制而言,准确判断和区分雾霾现象。减小雾霾现象对机场航班正常起降的影响,是非常有必要的。《雾霾现象经验公式及在首都机场的应用》提出了一套简单实用的经验公式,可以帮助气象观测员更为准确地判断和区分雾霾现象,提供更为准确的气象信息。
