This paper discusses the problems faced in the process of combining popular science books and mobile games, and points out the key points from the aspects of project planning, preliminary research, project implementation to the successful combination of paper products and digital products, comparing the traditional editing and new Media editorial work of the similarities and differences on the traditional editors in the digital transformation of the positioning and development direction of the recommendations, and finally on the “reading + games ” such popular science products market prospects and social benefits forecast.
