19世纪末20世纪初年科举改革期间,国际法成为科举考试内容,进入了普通士人的知识视野。科举考试中的公法试题以晚清传教士的国际法译本为知识依据,除了对应试者进行一定的知识考察外,依据国际法建言中国外交、对国际法与传统经义进行会通诠释,也是最为多见的考察内容。这些国际法试题与答卷,以及相关的应试参考资料,呈现了一种特定的知识样貌,反映出清末国际法知识的存在形态。
During the reform of the imperial examination in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, international law became the content of the imperial examinations and entered the field of knowledge of ordinary scholars. The public law questions in the imperial examinations are based on the knowledge of the translation of international law by missionaries in the late Qing Dynasty. In addition to conducting some knowledge surveys on the counterparts, China’s diplomacy is proposed in accordance with international law and the interpretation of international law and traditional Confucianism is the most common Study content. These questions and questionnaires of international law, as well as the relevant exam-oriented reference materials, present a specific kind of knowledge and reflect the existence of knowledge in international law in the late Qing Dynasty.
