(一)美国青蛙 雄蛙咽喉呈明显金黄色,有咽下内声囊,鸣声宏亮,耳鼓膜径大于眼径;前肢第一趾相对较粗硬。雌蛙咽喉部呈白色或具黑色斑纹;无内声囊,鸣叫声低微;耳鼓膜径小于或等于眼径;前肢第一趾柔软。性成熟年龄,南方1年,北方2年,体重300克以上;繁殖雌雄比1:1,繁殖季节4～9月。
