The body function of two national walking racers before the high altitude training was monitored. The changes of serum testosterone (T), cortisol (C), testosterone / cortisol (T / C) and blood urea (BU) Characteristics of athletes in the plateau before training to explore the regulation of physical metabolism and physical function of the state changes. Results: The level of T increased in the first phase and then decreased firstly and then increased in the latter three stages; C increased in the whole; the T / C decreased gradually, and decreased significantly in the athletes a and b; Upward trend. CONCLUSION: Under the condition of hypoxia in the plateau, the athletes showed different adaptive ability under the control of exercise load, individual differences among athletes and diet on the plateau, which had an impact on the body metabolism balance.
