The image of Italian girl in his works reflects the realistic society of Italy in the eyes of a “foreign country”. This thesis, based on comparative literature image theory, analyzes profoundly the literature of aristocrats as an exotic literature in different perspectives. It reveals the hidden Italian complexities and the causes of literary creation behind the image.
