We have grown a large-size Ca3 (VO4) 2 calcium vanadate crystal and explored the polarization conditions, while exploring the LD pumping Ca3 (VO4) 2 laser to achieve pulsed laser output. SDL3450-type 10W array diode laser was used in the experiment. The laser was coupled to the crystal via optical fiber. The crystal was c-slice with a thickness of 2mm. The crystal was coated on the light incident surface
