福建省农科院土肥所从1981年开始进行“凤尾菇栽培中固氮问题的研究”,最近获得新的进展.国际上对凤尾菇是否有固氮能力有所争论,但都没有举出具体数据说明这一问题.土肥所副研究员郑时利等人在研究从稻草到凤尾菇的物质转化过程中,出现氮素不平衡的现象,引起他们对这个问题的兴趣,并从以下二方面进行研究;一凤尾菇是否能够自生固氮,二凤尾菇栽培中是否在其他固氮体系.他们采用了乙炔还原法与~15N示踪等方法,测定其固氮酶活性与固氮量.经反复试验得出:一、凤尾菇在阿须贝培养基上尚能生长,但在多种灭菌过的培养基上都测不出其固氮酶活性.~15N检测中6个重复也测不出凤尾菇能利用~15N ,这就证明它本身不具有固氮能力;
