We arrived at the southern tip of the island around 3 pm. Teresa and Amber’s body soaked in sweat, they were tired, so we rolled out a blanket in the shade under a huge rock for lunch. David and I started whispering as the girls ate. “Do you think we can get back to the boat before it’s dark?” “I’ve got enough,” said I chewing a mouthful of sandwiches. “We may have to camp near the peninsula that we passed a few hours ago.” “Davie looked unhappy. ”We shouldn’t bring them. They are dragging our feet."
