西南交通大学校机关计算机网络管理信息系统经过半年多的开发,目前已基本完成建网连结,各管理子系统上网调试运行的任务。西南交通大学校机关计算机网络管理信息系统是首先实现的校园网的主要子系统,校机关办公楼局域网从校园网整体结构来看,作为主干网 FDDI 高速光纤网的一个节点,通过5017C 集线器模块与校园网 FDDI 相连,还可通过同步专线经由 CHINAPAC 数字通讯网和 INTERNET 相连,从而实现很广范围的信息资源查询和共享。校机关网络管理信息系统采用九十年代具有很大发展前景的 SYBASE 关系数据库。
