Dwight D. Eisenhower (Ike) and George Barton are undoubtedly the two most famous U.S. warplanes in World War II. As the supreme commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force, Eisenhower commanded a large Allied Forces jumped from the beach at Normandy, mercilessly rolling the Nazi army until it won the European war; as the commander of the Third Army, Patton led his troops across the territory of France, Hit the European heart all the way. But just five months after the victory of the Allied forces, Ike flatly relieved Patton’s command post. Former friends of the past suddenly enemies.
