四川是我国柠檬的主要产地。解放前,试验研究场所、学校有少量栽培,四川大学张文湘教授1938年曾由美国加州引回尤力克柠檬接穗在金堂川大柑桔场繁殖。解放后,随着国内外市场需要,五十年代西川开始发展柠檬,六十年代中期柠檬已经是四川省外销柑桔的重要商品,1965年仅重庆,永川,简阳等地国营农场柠檬幼树年产柠檬860吨,
Sichuan is the main origin of lemon in China. Before the liberation, experimental research sites, schools have a small amount of cultivation, Professor Zhang Wenxiang of Sichuan University in 1938 by California, the United States led back to Yurikeke lemon scion in Jintangchuan Citrus orange field reproduction.
