In three cases of neurological injury, paracentesis was observed in 4 to 5 minutes of contraction after the use of succinylcholine anesthesia before surgery. The authors point out that this phenomenon helps to identify nerve damage and tendon rupture. According to the new theory of neuromuscular transmission, when the impulse arrives at the motor nerve terminal, the terminal vesicles of the nerve release vinylcholine. The latter increase the permeability of the sarcolemma, resulting in a large influx of sodium ions, resulting in depolarization potential of the end plate, resulting in low potential so that the membrane depolarization to achieve the excitation level.
