金文研究中出现相同人名的器铭,学者多根据人名系连法进行铜器断代和释读。但此法如使用不当往往有碍于正确解读铭文含义。在井侯簋、荣簋等五器中出现的人名“荣”普遍被学界看作是周初的荣伯,但根据称谓、世职、赏赐等多方面考虑,认为这五器中的“荣”和周初荣伯并无必然联系。人名“荣”应理解为个人私名,与西周“荣氏”两不牵扯。
Inscriptions on the same names emerge in the study of Jinwen, and many scholars use the method of name names to conclude and interpret bronzes. However, improper use of this method may prevent the correct interpretation of the inscription. The name “Rong”, which appeared in the well-to-order and Rong-jing five etiquette, was generally regarded as the erudition of the early Zhou Dynasty by scholars. However, according to many aspects such as appellation, occupation and reward, “Rong ” and there is no necessary contact with the beginning of the week. Name “Rong” should be understood as a personal name, and the Western Zhou Dynasty “Rong ” two do not involve.
