作者前对于国药中黄碱类化学成分进行研究,曾将四川产陈皮中分离出的新结晶性成分“川陈皮精”(nobiletine)的化学构造等分别报道过,兹从四川产密蒙花中提练出结晶成分,并将其化学结构的证明报告如下: 按密蒙花的植物学名为Buddlea officinals Maxim.属于马钱科为乔木类,对于本植物的描写,当以宋大观本草最为详细:密蒙花生益州川谷,今蜀中州郡皆有之。木高丈馀,叶似冬青叶而厚,皆白色有细毛,又似橘叶。花微紫色。二、三月采花暴乾用,由上列记载可知密蒙花的主要产地为四川,其花生时为紫色成簇,但是采下乾后便成为深黄色,此为药用部分,并为本研究所用的原料。本药的应用亦以大观本草的记载为最早,以前的本草均未载有本品。至于密蒙花的药效,据大观本草的记载是主治青盲、肤臀、赤涩多眵泪,消目中赤脈
