双频移动电话是指能用于同一制式下,可同时接收两种不同工作频率的移动电话。这两种频率是ＧＳＭ９００ＭＨｚ和 ＤＣＳ１８００ＭＨｚ。推出双频服务的原因是由于使用移动电话的用户越来越多,现有的ＧＳＭ９００ＭＨｚ网络容量有限,使网络越来越拥挤,服务质量难以得到保证。ＤＣＳ１８００是在原ＧＳＭ９００的基础上发展起来的新的移动电话系
Dual-band mobile phones refer to mobile phones that can be used in the same system to receive two different working frequencies at the same time. The two frequencies are GSM900MHz and DCS1800MHz. The introduction of dual-band service is due to the increasing number of subscribers using mobile phones. The existing GSM900MHz network has limited capacity, making the network increasingly crowded and the quality of service difficult to be guaranteed.
