The new school of ancient tone scholars generally believe that a rhyme department often contains many different vowels of the main opposition, but also the length of the vowel opposition. However, the ethnic rhyming of ethnic minorities in the Sino-Tibetan language family, the rhyming of the “Book of Songs”, and the harmony of “Shuo Wen” do not involve the rhyming of vowel length or vowel. Even in languages with opposite vowel lengths, the oppositions of the new philosopher-archaeologists can not be clearly distinguished. The harmony system of Shuo Wen, the rhyme system of the Book of Songs, and the rhyming system of the poem of the minority all show the same rhyme principle with the same or similar vowel.
