看看这两年的电视,不会不注意到这个局面:现在最热闹最吸引人最轰轰烈烈的电视剧多是“历史题材”,从《红楼梦》到《水浒》,从《努尔哈赤》到《包公》,而当今中国人最关心也与自身最密切相关的“改革题材”却受了冷落。自《乔厂长上任记》,《新闻启示录》、《新星》之后,几乎再没出现一举打响之作,虽然前些日子北京电视台还热心搞了一次“改革题材电视剧展播”,但在观众中仍激不起什么反响。其实,或许这倒正是二十世纪八十年代中国人面对的现实:尴尬。我们的改革是没有先例的,没有规范可循。过去的一套价值观念无法适应全新的事实:北京的“城里人”,今天得罪不起安徽的小保姆;江浙的裁缝挑子赚足了外省人的钱;深圳的高楼大厦飞速拔起又倾刻停建;行迹可疑的“倒爷”带来了市场繁荣也带来了高物价……有谁能说,这里谁对,谁错?该歌颂什么?反对什么,应该说,没人能开得出这些药方,我们也不能期望谁能开出这些药方。
