一、概况据1981年统计,日本桃栽培面积约1.8万公顷,年产25万吨。主要分布在日本的东北和中部地区。主要产地为长野、山梨、福岛。岗山和神奈川两地在改良引进品种上作出了不少贡献,是桃栽培的原始地区。桃多数是由70年前从上海引进的水蜜桃改良而成的。以白桃、大久保、白凤为主栽品种,布目早生和砂子早生也占一定的比例。
